Die BASF Venture Capital GmbH hat 5 Millionen US-Dollar in das Unternehmen Solidia Technologies Inc., Piscataway (USA), investiert. Die Investition war Teil einer Finanzierungsrunde über 27 Millionen US-Dollar. An dieser Runde nahmen auch Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, BP Alternative Energy sowie Bright Capital – die Risikokapitalsparte der Ru-Com Corporation – teil.
